Shrimp farmers in Bangladesh were studied to see how efficient they are at growing shrimp. The researchers found that many farmers could increase their production by almost 30% if they improved their techniques. Factors like farm size, education, income from other sources, training, distance to water, and water quality all play a big role in how well farmers do. Overall, the average efficiency of shrimp farmers in Bangladesh is 71%.
