The study looked at how different combinations of fertilizer and number of shoots affect the early growth of sugar cane plants. They tested five levels of fertilizer combinations and two numbers of shoots. The best results were seen with a combination of 50% urea and 5% Phonska fertilizer, along with one shoot, which produced the widest leaves. This combination also had a positive effect on root length and weight. Additionally, having one shoot significantly affected plant diameter and leaf area.
