A new probability distribution called the I-function distribution has been introduced in this paper. It is a generalization of known distributions with positive support. The distribution of products, quotients, and powers of independent I-function variates are also I-function variates. Additionally, a new distribution called the I-function inverse Gaussian distribution has been introduced and studied.
