Soil type in Pakistan was identified using remote sensing and machine learning. By analyzing satellite images, researchers classified soil types like Silt Loam, Loam, Sandy Loam, Silty Clay Loam, and Clay Loam. They used techniques like Random Forest and Support Vector Machine to achieve an overall accuracy of 86.61% and 84.41% for classifying soil types. This information can help farmers improve crop productivity and make better agricultural plans.
