Groundwater flow simulation in Ghana reveals high model performance for region.
The study used a computer model to understand how water flows underground in the Lower Pra Basin in Ghana. Researchers figured out how fast water moves through the ground and how much water gets into the ground. They created a detailed map of the area and then made a computer model to simulate the water flow. By comparing their model to real data, they found that their model was very accurate in predicting water movement. This helps us better understand how water behaves in this region.
