New method for Weibull distribution estimation improves accuracy significantly.
A new method for estimating parameters of the Weibull distribution has been developed. By using a different approach than traditional methods, this new method minimizes errors in estimating the scale parameter based on the shape and location parameters. The study shows that this new method performs better than the commonly used maximum likelihood and least squares methods when applied to real-world data.
