Health Professionals Empowered to Drive Positive Behavior Change in Patients
Health professionals in Australia attended a 2-hour workshop to learn about behavior change techniques. The workshop aimed to help them encourage positive health behaviors in their patients. After the workshop, the health professionals showed significant improvements in knowledge of behavior change techniques, subjective and descriptive norms, perceived behavioral control, and intention. However, there was no significant change in attitude. Overall, the workshop was found to be highly acceptable and effective in increasing knowledge and skills related to behavior change.
