Climate variability affects how much water dry-season rice crops need. This study looked at two types of rice grown in northeast Bangladesh. They found that as time passed, the rice needed more water at different stages of growth. The most water was needed during the mid-season stage. This information can help farmers know when to water their crops and plan for water resources in the area.
