The article examines the current state of the stock market in Uzbekistan and identifies key issues hindering its growth. Problems include low capitalization, lack of infrastructure, complex legal documents, and limited investor protection. Solutions proposed include attracting investors, increasing dividend yields, improving laws and taxes, and enhancing transaction insurance. The stock market can only develop further with a combined effort from the market and the government. To attract new investors, financial literacy programs and new investment tools are essential.
