Toxic Heavy Metals Found in Bottled Water Pose Health Risks
The study looked at the quality of drinking water to see if heavy metals in it could harm people's health. They tested for metals like lead, cadmium, and nickel in different water samples. Some samples had too much aluminum and nickel, but most were safe to drink. Bottled water like Qafeshtama and tap water from Student's City in Tirana were found to be safe. Overall, Glina bottled water was toxic to humans, while Trebeshina was moderately toxic. Some metals like nickel, cadmium, and chromium could increase the risk of cancer, but lead was less risky.
