High Nitrogen Fertilizer Rate Boosts Wheat Yield in Algerian Semiarid Conditions
Nitrogen fertilizer amount affects durum wheat yield and quality in Algerian semiarid conditions. A study looked at different nitrogen rates on grain yield, protein content, and nitrogen use efficiency. Results showed that the wet year had higher yields and quality compared to the dry year. A nitrogen rate of 120 units is recommended for optimal wheat growth in these conditions.
