The article discusses how full-scale pile load tests are used to check the strength of foundation piles. Different methods like rate of loading and time increment are used to test the piles. Sometimes, piles don't reach their full capacity under the test load. The study focuses on challenges faced when testing large diameter piles in marine-like conditions. A reaction frame connected to four large piles was used for the test. The study highlights the importance of cleaning the base, setting up the reaction frame, and discusses the test results.
