The VP3 biofertilizer, made from vermiwash and molasses with 3 bacterial isolates, was tested on soybeans in the field against other market biofertilizers. The study found that VP3 biofertilizer generally resulted in better growth and yield of soybeans compared to the other biofertilizers tested. This was shown by significant increases in leaf area per plant and total seed weight per plot of soybean plants.
