The article discusses different models used to understand how health policies are made. Some models are specific to health, while others are more general. Few general models are used in health policy studies, and some health models are not used in general policy studies. This shows that health policy research is somewhat separate from general policy research. Future research can either focus on creating new health-specific models or include more general policy models.
