New Study Reveals Impact of Jatiroke Catchment Area on Water Supply
The researchers studied the Jatiroke catchment area to understand its physical characteristics. They found that the area is 5695.80 hectares in size, with a climate classification of type C and type C3. The shape of the area resembles a bird feather, affecting water flow into the river. The land cover is mainly forest mixed, covering 28% of the area. Andosol and Kambisol soil types are present, with Kambisol dominating at 57%. The slope consists of moderately steep and steep classes, making up 27.75% and 23.29% of the area, respectively.
