Solid waste is a big problem in Bangalore city, especially in the Vijayanagar zone. To tackle this issue, a study was conducted in 2017-18 to analyze the composition of solid waste in that area. By collecting data from the city corporation and ward offices, researchers were able to identify the types of waste being generated. This information is crucial for developing better waste management strategies to handle the problem more effectively.
