Revolutionizing Arable Crop Farming in Nigeria: New Technologies Unveiled!
The study looked at the technology needs of arable crop farmers in Oyo and Ekiti States, Nigeria. They surveyed 235 farmers and found that most grow maize, cassava, and leafy vegetables. The farmers need better farming practices and inputs, but struggle with finances and limited land. Factors like age, gender, farming experience, extension services, and farm size influence their technology needs. To improve crop production, farmers should receive training on using appropriate technologies, and technology providers should tailor their offerings to meet farmers' needs.
