New study reveals key to preserving wetland ecosystems and biodiversity!
The researchers studied the vegetation in Golatappar swamp by looking at different areas in winter and summer. They used a method called Detrended Correspondence Analysis to analyze the data. By doing this, they found that the plants and communities in the swamp were arranged based on how wet the soil was. This arrangement helped them separate the wet areas from the marshy and dry ones, showing a connection between plant types and soil properties.
