The Upper Bima Member in Fufore, Nigeria was studied to understand its ancient environment. By examining the layers of rock, researchers found different types of sandstone and mudstone. These rocks suggest the area was once a braided river, with sand beds forming in shallow water. The direction of the sediment flow was mainly towards the northwest. This study helps us learn more about the past landscape of this region.
