The article discusses how Vietnam is using solar and wind power but facing issues with overcapacity. To solve this, researchers suggest using pumped-storage hydroelectricity (PSH) technology to balance the power system. They also propose using a Model Predictive Controller (MPC) to manage the grid's power balance. The research shows that building a PSH plant in central Vietnam can optimize renewable energy sources, bring economic benefits, and stabilize the electricity system.
