Saudi manufacturers get sustainability index to boost competitiveness and meet 2030 vision.
The article introduces a new way to measure sustainability in Saudi manufacturing companies to help them survive and thrive in a competitive market. The researchers created a model with three main aspects, 12 categories, and 29 sub-categories to evaluate sustainability. By applying this model to a real company, they identified areas where the organization can improve its sustainability efforts. Notably, eight specific factors were below the desired level, highlighting them as obstacles to the company's sustainability progress. The study aids organizations in preparing sustainability reports that align with global standards, guiding them towards a more sustainable future in line with Saudi Arabia's 2030 Vision.
