Compost from Leftover Food Boosts Soil Fertility, Sawdust Speeds Up Process
The type of organic waste used in composting affects the nutrient content of the compost, with cooked leftover food waste being the most nutrient-rich. Sawdust also plays a significant role in speeding up the composting process and improving the quality of the compost. This study aimed to determine how different types of organic waste impact the physical properties and nutrient composition of compost, highlighting the importance of choosing the right waste materials for effective composting.
