Researchers in India studied how spraying zinc on rice plants at different growth stages affects their growth and yield. They found that applying zinc at the Panicle Initiation and 1 week after flowering stage resulted in the highest grain yield, which was 50.59% higher than the control group. This method also improved the nutrient content in the soil.
