The article discusses a smart system for managing energy in electric vehicles with a mix of batteries and supercapacitors. By using a combination of rule-based and predictive strategies based on the driving route, the system optimizes power distribution in real-time. This approach can reduce battery energy consumption by up to 9.14% on city routes and extend battery life by up to 13.35%. The system also cuts battery energy losses by up to 62.72%.
