The Meu PICC (My PICC) app was tested for ease of use by patients with peripherally inserted central catheters. The study used a survey to gather feedback from patients, nurses, and IT professionals. Results showed that older patients found the app less user-friendly, and the more time spent using the app, the lower the usability rating. Overall, most patients, nurses, and IT professionals rated the app as either the best possible or excellent for monitoring patients with PICCs. This suggests that the app is helpful for tracking outpatient PICC use.
