New Study Reveals Key Factors for Longevity Among Elderly in China
Limited evidence exists on healthy longevity worldwide, with no previous studies examining the impact of modifiable factors. A recent study in China from 1998 to 2018 aimed to determine the factors influencing longevity and healthy longevity in individuals aged 75 or older. The study found that certain lifestyle factors, such as diet, exercise, and social engagement, play a significant role in determining how long individuals live and how healthy they are in their later years. These findings highlight the importance of adopting healthy habits to promote both longevity and quality of life in older adults.
