The position of seeds in bottle gourd fruits affects seed yield and quality. Seeds from the middle segment of the fruit had the highest number of seeds, weight, germination rate, and seedling growth. The seeds from the stylar segment also showed good quality attributes. However, seeds from the peduncular portion had the lowest quality. Overall, seeds from the middle and stylar segments of the fruit are better for obtaining high-quality seeds.
