The researchers studied how different plant hormones affect the growth of Rauvolfia verticillata plants. They tested combinations of gibberellic acid (GA3) and cytokinin on seed germination and plant growth. The results showed that soaking seeds in GA3 50 ppm led to faster germination, higher germination rates, taller plants, more leaves, and greater plant weight compared to soaking in cytokinin 50 ppm. The combination of GA3 50 ppm and cytokinin 50 ppm increased plant weight significantly, while GA3 75 ppm and cytokinin 50 ppm improved germination rates, plant height, leaf number, and leaf width.
