The researchers looked at how suitable the land was for agriculture and how much of it was available for farming. They found that most of the land was suitable for agriculture, but a lot of it wasn't available for farming. This means that efforts to prevent the conversion of agricultural land into other types of land need to be improved to avoid losing valuable farming space.
