The article introduces a new way to measure how efficiently industries use energy, called the Energy Efficiency Index (ENEX). This index rates energy consumers from A++ (most efficient) to E (least efficient) and helps stakeholders compare energy use across different industries. ENEX is a comprehensive indicator that considers various factors affecting energy efficiency and helps identify areas of improvement. By monitoring ENEX over time, we can track the sustainability and efficiency of energy use in industries.
