Taller Doesn't Mean Longer: Smaller People Found to Live Longer
Taller people do not necessarily live longer than shorter people. A study in Poland found that the relationship between height and longevity is weak and actually negative. This means that being taller does not guarantee a longer life. In fact, smaller individuals, especially those aged 85 and above, may actually have a longevity advantage. The researchers suggest that there may be biological reasons for this, and they are looking into why smaller people tend to live longer.
