Potassium Foliar Nutrition Boosts Wheat Yield on Gypsiferous Soil Under Irrigation
A study was done to see how different types of potassium fertilizer affect wheat growth and yield on gypsiferous soil with sprinkler irrigation. They used potassium sulfate and potassium humate at different levels. The results showed that potassium sulfate helped with plant height and dry matter, while potassium humate improved flag leaf area, spike number, seed number, grain weight, yield, and harvest index. Applying potassium as a foliar spray had a positive impact on most parameters, with the highest dose being the most effective. The combination of potassium type and application method affected all parameters except spike length and biological yield.
