The goal of the research was to make compost from food waste and organic materials to help agriculture and reduce greenhouse gases. Different compost types were tested with and without amendments to see which worked best. Compost made with banana peels was found to be the most effective, improving plant growth and having good quality. However, none of the composts significantly reduced carbon dioxide emissions.
