Optimizing sesame growth and yield with strategic spacing and manganese use.
The researchers studied how different spacing and manganese levels affect the growth and yield of sesame plants. They tested three spacing levels and three manganese levels in a field experiment. The best results were seen with a spacing of 50×10cm and 4.5kg/ha of manganese. This combination led to taller plants, more branches, higher plant weight, more capsules and seeds per plant, and increased seed, straw, and biological yield.
