The study focused on gathering indoor and outdoor building data using drones and terrestrial LiDAR to create accurate digital models. By combining drone imagery, drone LiDAR, and ground LiDAR data, the researchers were able to generate detailed point cloud models of a new building. Analysis showed that drone imagery and drone LiDAR had high accuracy levels compared to ground LiDAR data, with drone LiDAR being more precise in the vertical direction. The fusion of these data sources proved effective in constructing comprehensive indoor and outdoor building data, which can be valuable for creating models and drawings of buildings and facilities.
