Optimal sowing dates and varieties boost wheat yield and nutrient uptake.
The study looked at how planting dates and different types of wheat affect the growth and yield of wheat plants. They tested four planting dates and four wheat varieties in a field experiment. The results showed that planting on November 28 gave the best results for plant height, tillers, yield, and nutrient uptake. Variety V4 (DBW-187) also showed good results. Overall, the study found that planting at the right time and choosing the right wheat variety can significantly improve wheat growth and yield.
