During the COVID-19 pandemic, people in Kosovo struggled to tell the difference between true and false information on Facebook. A study with 850 participants found that less educated and economically disadvantaged individuals were more likely to believe misinformation. This shows that the way people seek information has changed, and many are easily influenced by false news on social media.
