Unveiling Ozone Deficiencies in Taiwan's Atmosphere: Impact on Air Quality
Researchers launched instruments to measure ozone levels at Pengjia Islet, Taiwan, and compared them to past data. They found that ozone concentrations in August 2022 were similar to those from 1992-2011. Low ozone levels were detected at specific altitudes on certain dates, likely due to air movements from the Philippines and Japan. Ozone levels in different atmospheric layers showed some variation, with a weak negative correlation with humidity.
