Wetlands in Nagpur district, India have decreased in size from 2000 to 2014, with vegetation within wetlands also decreasing during this time. The study used satellite data to track changes in wetland status and found that human activities and climate change are impacting these important ecosystems. By analyzing satellite images, researchers were able to show how wetlands are changing over time, which is crucial for their conservation and management in the future.
