Transformative learning research has grown in education, but there's little on how to create instruction for it. A new systematic framework was developed to guide the design of transformative learning models. The researchers reviewed academic papers and identified three key components: transformative outcomes, transformative scaffolding, and transformative learning experience. They also outlined seven stages for designing transformative learning models.
