Soil degradation is a big problem in Africa, making it hard for farmers to grow crops. Adding vermicompost alone doesn't do much, but when combined with other soil treatments like fertilizers and biochar, it can greatly improve soil quality. This study shows that using a mix of vermicompost and other amendments is better for soil fertility than using them separately.
