By adjusting certain parameters, the model accurately predicted how much water the trees released through their leaves. This is important for studying how forests use water, especially in dry conditions. The modified model improved the accuracy of predicting water loss compared to the original model. This research shows that different types of trees may have unique ways of regulating water loss, and using specific parameters can help us better understand and predict their behavior.
