New MPPT algorithm boosts efficiency of photovoltaic systems for cleaner energy.
A new algorithm called RNA has been developed to improve the efficiency of solar panels. This algorithm uses artificial neural networks to optimize the power output of the panels by adjusting the converter's duty cycle. By using a Recursive Bit Assignment network, the RNA algorithm can quickly track the maximum power point, leading to high energy efficiency and minimal power fluctuations. Tests show that the RNA algorithm outperforms other popular algorithms in various conditions, such as changes in sunlight intensity and temperature, as well as partial shading. The experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the RNA algorithm in maximizing the power output of photovoltaic systems.
