The article presents a design for a responsive facade model inspired by origami to improve visual comfort in buildings. The model includes moving parts that help reduce heat from the sun while keeping the space well-lit. By using simulations in Istanbul, the study found that the origami-based facade enhances daylight performance compared to a regular facade.
