Iconic Buildings Go Green: Colored Solar Panels Blend Seamlessly, Slash Carbon Emissions
The researchers aimed to use colorful solar panels to blend into buildings for energy production without disrupting their look. By testing different colors on a well-known building in Malaysia, they found a colored solar panel system that can generate 679.72 MW of energy annually and cut 10367.66 tCO2 of CO2 emissions each year. This helps preserve the building's original design while harnessing solar power efficiently.
