The study aimed to understand the water balance of a subcatchment to the Kapuas River in Borneo. Researchers used basic methods to measure flow, rain, and sediment in the rivers. They created a simple model to predict water movement in the area. The results showed that the model accurately reflected the actual observations, providing a basic understanding of the water situation in the catchment.
