Coastal Shrimp Farmers in Vietnam Struggle to Adapt to Climate Change
Shrimp farmers in Tra Vinh province, Vietnam were studied to see how vulnerable they are to climate change. The researchers looked at how much the farmers are exposed to climate change, how sensitive they are to it, and how well they can adapt. They found that shrimp farmers in the inland district are more vulnerable to climate change than those in the coastal district because of their natural and social resources.
