Robust Designs Revolutionize Mechatronics, Boosting Reliability and Slashing Costs
The article presents a method for designing complex mechatronical systems more effectively. By focusing on customer requirements, system functions, and system structure, the method helps create a robust design model. Two key rules are used: ensuring independence of main functions and robustness of design variables. This approach prevents failures and external interference, improving system reliability and reducing design time and costs. The method was successfully applied in a product design, confirming its effectiveness.
