Sustainability practices boost hotel performance, unlocking financial and social value for stakeholders.
The research looks at how sustainability practices in hotels affect their success. They studied 365 Spanish hotels and found that being environmentally friendly helps hotels perform well and also influences their social and economic practices. Hotel performance connects environmental actions to economic and social practices. Good hotel performance supports economic and social sustainability, and strong economics support social sustainability too. So, by being green, hotels can succeed and add value for everyone involved, like owners and the community. And having money helps improve environmental and social actions, giving benefits to all stakeholders.
