Boosting Soil Health and Crop Nutrition with Organic Fertilizer Substitution
The researchers studied how using organic fertilizer instead of chemical fertilizer affects the activity of a soil enzyme called β–glucosidase in wheat fields. They tested different fertilization treatments and found that using organic fertilizer increased the enzyme's activity and improved soil quality. The enzyme worked better with organic fertilizer, especially at certain stages of wheat growth. This shows that using organic fertilizer can help soil provide more nutrients to wheat plants.
